Method to Fix Maytag Dishwasher Leaking

There are multiple methods to resolve the leakage problem of Maytag dishwasher, and what works in your case depends upon the root cause of leakage.

Solution # 01: Tightening Wash Arm Support Screws

Just open the door of your Maytag dishwasher and check its screws. Depending upon your dishwasher model, there may be multiple screws placed on each side after fix distance. Check them all and tight them properly using a good quality screw driver.

Please note that if you find any screw in free movement i.e. it is not tightening, then you must replace it with same size screw, otherwise the leakage problem won’t be fixed.

Solution # 02: Clean the Front Seal

Maytag dishwashers have a seal on the door, whose sole purpose is to prevent leakage. However, in case some food particles or any other thing gets accumulated in this seal, the door does not close properly. As a result, it starts leaking from there.
