Frigidaire Dishwasher displays different error codes on the display to warn the user in case of malfunctioning.
The error code I30 is one of those codes, it is displayed when the overconsumption of water takes place. This error can be caused due to one of the following reasons:
- Malfunctioning leak sensor.
- Clogged drain system.
- Drain Pump not working properly.
- Malfunctioning inlet valve.
- Malfunctioning pressure switch
Troubleshooting Error Code I30
First of all, you should turn off the device and run it after half an hour. If the error is still displayed after restarting the machine, then you should tilt the machine to one side, in order for the water to flow out.
Make sure that the machine is completely dried. Once it is dried, try running the machine again.
Look for any leakage
In case of any leakage, you have to check the machine’s pan. If it is wet, then there might be a leakage, otherwise ignore this step. But if it is wet, follow these steps:
- Disassemble the top and side panels of the machine and then run a washing cycle. Be very careful while doing this.
- Now examine the pathway of water as it reaches the tray. This way you will be able to examine the leak.
- In that case, you have to either repair or replace the damaged part.
Cleaning the Draining System
If there is no leakage, then you have to follow this step. Make sure to inspect the filter, pump and the hosepipe. If there’s any clogging, you should clean these parts thoroughly.
Also, make sure to clean the drain pump’s impeller. Once you have cleaned these parts, re-install these parts properly and run a dry test.
Leak detector is placed at the bottom tray. Clean this part thoroughly. If it seems damaged, you should consider replacing it. You can use the multimeter to check the credibility of this component.
Inlet valve is responsible for regulating the flow of the water. If this component isn’t working as it should, you have replace it.
Inlet valve could be malfunctioning due to an issue in one of its parts or wiring issue. You should take out this part, clean it and check it with a multimeter. In case of any issues, replacing it is required.
If the pressure switch is clogged, you have to take it out and clean it. Also, check it with a multimeter. If there are any issues with it, you should replace it.
If you have inspected all these components and the machine still displays the I30 error, then unfortunately there might be an issue with the main module. In that case, you need to seek a professional’s assistance.
